Who we are

The Web Warren is a web development group at Binghamton University staffed by Computing Services professionals and student employees. We are available to assist University affiliated departments, offices, and organizations in designing, developing, and enhancing their web sites. Instructors who are interested in using the Web for their courses may also request assistance from the Web Warren staff.

What we do

The Web Warren staff has access to a wide variety of hardware and software resources and the technical skills necessary to support many different aspects of Web page development. Some of the services the Web Warren staff can provide include the following:

itemCGI script development using Perl and PHP
itemGraphic design and enhancement
itemDatabase applications using MySQL
itemImage scanning and photo manipulation
itemFile translation to HTML

Work we have done

We provide all levels of support, from help in getting started, to the creation of an entire site. Whether assistance is needed in developing a particular part of the site or with an entire project, we are happy to help. Usually there is no charge to the department or individual for our services. See some of the sites we have developed at the top of this page for examples of our work.
